I was brought here by xiao xiao :P i was like 13 and all i was interested in was these crazy stick fights. and i think maybe decline of videogames solidified me being here all the time. I was younger so when i first started visiting here there was already a portal, but hentai ads everywhere, it was in that time so of course at first I was rather hiding the fact that i went on there.
Around that time, lots of people just thought of NG as a hentai site, i taught them better >=D

Holy shit, man. I can relate to this so fucking much. I'm only 18, newgrounds came out when I was pretty young. I remember how often I'd check just to see new things, and how much Resident Beavis struck me as something amazing. Now I'm learning to use flash and drawing for the first time, really, and even though it's terrible, I'm keeping at it in hopes of improvement, and maybe I'll be frontpage someday. Thanks for making me nostalgic. :D

I've been going here since 2000 and signed in on May 22, 2001. Things have changed a lot since then (I remember Evildave and Mewtwo Mayhem). I noticed that your How to Succeed on NG is a lot like Portal Detour and NG Sticks. (Remember those by any chance?)
As a matter of fact, I've seen you compare How To Succeed on Newgrounds to those two before, and something about how I'm not very good at comedy. I haven't seen either films believe it or not, but I'll check them out.

I think I found NG about 8 years ago and frequented on/off? Right before the theme song, Absolm release, Miss Dynamite and way before the link to Nudegrounds. Still, The Little Jamurai, Arrogancy, Chu Chu Rocket Remix and a slew of other ones prolly no one remembers play back in my head.

Oh snap, I forgot to mention Arrogancy. I liked that series a lot, but after seeing Genryu's Blade, it was sort of dwarfed. Also, the voice acting was just too funky to be a classic for me. Miss Dynamite was also pretty fun to watch. I remember NG used to play the theme song on a loop constantly. I love the song, but damn that got annoying. Yeah, I'll pound it.
Anyone remember when the portal had the Unicron theme playing in the background? Oooh yeah, that was bad ass!
Do you remember when the portal had an animation with .swf's going into a portal, and if you dragged your mouse over them they'd blow up and make a noise? I'd always accidentally drag over them, and it'd startle me whenever they blew up. I can't say I miss that.
