Just delightful. :*

Just as good as the original. Everything is improved upon - characterization, game play, art style, music - it's all got that Pico feeling, but it has matured and refined with age. Simply incredible. Hoping this gets ported to XBLA and PSN soon.

I had a blast

It was a great old-school style side-scroller. I liked the idea you had with you having to build your own way up to get to the third boss, and the Metroid/Megaman style "escape as the last boss" was cool. A few glitches made my kill myself, but I got it done. I uh...... beat it in 666 seconds. Great work and a good kick-off to the Po3 event. I'm going to go repent for my sins and read the bible.

Loved it

This game reminded me of Beavis and Butthead for the SNES. It felt like a classic side-scroller, complete with hidden warp areas and power-ups. It was also very long compared to most games I've played here. My only gripes are that the first boss seemed like it didn't have as much effort put into it, and you can dominate most things with the spinning flaming hair.

But with great art/animation, power ups, multiple combos, a special move, and for the most part great boss fights, I'd say the good far outweighs the bad. Good work, and keep it up.

Very Impressed

I had forgotten you said you were going to do this, so when I saw my name in the list I did a double take. I have to say, I really like what you've done here. You've put the tablet to good use, and done my character justice. I'll look forward to what you have to offer in the future, so keep up the good work and take it easy.

Thank you, Outlaw was a great addition to the piece.

Pretty entertaining

Until you get to about the 15th level. I noticed there's something like 126 levels, but it doesn't present much of a challenge. It's all more of the same.

You should think about two things:

1. Put a limit to how much line you can draw. Then the player would really have to think of creative ways to get the ball to the goal.

2. Put a time limit on how long you can think about it.

Personally, all I had to do to win was draw a two line path straight to the end, and block off any possible escape places. All in all, entertaining, but not as challenging as I had hoped. Keep up the good work, and maybe a sequel?

Not great, but not Terrible

I guess it's both a blessing and a curse to make front page. I've seen it a million times. A decent but not amazing movie/game makes front page and people all vote 0 on it out of spite. Though I don't agree with doing that, I understand why you would do it. Your roid-rage rant isn't going to help, and may actually make people vote zero out of spite that you made front page AND are talking shit about reviewers. If you don't care about your game score anymore, I guess it's a good way to blow off steam; but if your going to do that, you might as well go all out and throw in a lot of swear words, racial slurs, and derogatory statements about midgets or something.

As for the game itself, as said previously, it was ok, but not great. It's basically Drag Racer Version 0.25. You've got two cars that you can "pimp out" with some decent and funny upgrades, but nothing super. And then - that's it, thats all you do. No racing, no nothing. If I were to give it a score, I'd probably rate it a 3 out of 5 on it's own without comparing it to any other similar games. If I compared it, I'd give it like a 2.5 if I could, just because other games offer a lot more. It wasn't bad though, so keep up the good work, and maybe expand on this game with another version with more cars, features, and .... fun. Don't give up. Peace, I'm out.

Keeping punk rock Elite

I usually don't enjoy games on newgrounds, and rarely give an overall score of 10, but this game is a fucking masterpiece. Not only does the music flow seamlessly, but you have animation that backs it up perfectly. Also, you have kick-ass background music; and even better - Disgaea references. That game is the shit. All in all, this is an amazing game. Thanks for making it.

No Radiant Silver Gun

But it was really fun none the less. The time you put into it really paid off. It was a perfect balance of story and action, and it was great to have other things going on in the backround while battling in the foreground. The voice acting was a bit cheesy here and there, but for the most part it was good. The plot itself wasn't too incredibly deep in my opinion, but that's alright because the game made up for it. One compliant I have is that it wasn't really that difficult, and there weren't enough power-ups. I should be glad that you even had any power-ups at all, but one of the most important part about shooters are the upgrades to your weapon(s). The two-mode fighter was a good idea, but it wasn't specific enough on when to use each one. Besides those minor details, it was a great game. Keep up the great work, and make a sequel.

Talkin' 'bout cream cheese sandwiches.
